PROBIONTS IN PENAEUS MONODON HATCHERY

QUESTION:

I am looking for information about probiotics in aquaculture. If anyone has as any information on this area or information about people who make some research with probiotics, it will be greatly appreciated.

ANSWER:

We currently use a probiotic product in a big monodon hatchery in

Madagascar. Larval rearing is conducted without water exchange until PL1, (allows to keep a good bacterial equilibrium and no stress) but with strong aeration and exclusive use of microparticles (inert food). We obtain very good and reliable results (25 million PL20 per month). The product is called PROBIOTEL, you can contact :
