TETRA'S FLAKES FOR SHRIMP LARVAE

TETRA Werke announces a new addition to its range of TETRA AZ Aquaculture rearing food products: flakes as supplementary food for shrimp larvae. Feeding Tetra AZ Flakes together with Tetra AZ 300 (artificial plankton for shrimps) results in the most important advantage: considerable reduction of very expensive natural food such as Artemia nauplii. The mixture of food affects a better survival rate in the development of the shrimp larvae (from zoea to post-larvae).

Comprehensive tests with giant tiger prawns (Penaeus monodon) have

proved this. In addition, tests using this feeding method have provided

evidence of faster growth rates of the larvae.

AZ flakes are very easy to digest. They contain a high level of stabilised Vitamin C, other vitamins, essential amino acids and proteins. Tetra AZ Flakes are available in a very convenient 13,5 I bucket (2.300 g content).

TETRA's experience of over 40 years in the industrial production of fish food is the basis for the excellent quality of AZ Flakes. TETRA's Research and Development Department always cares for the development of innovative products in the aquaculture industry. More information on Tetra's general business can be found on the Internet, http://www.tetra.de.
