The aim is to provide a forum for the exchange of scientific information on all aspects of genetics as they relate to aquatic animals and plants which are or have the potential to be cultured. Studies on wild populations will be accepted if they have relevance to aquaculture activity or conservation of genetic resources.
A list-server called aqua-genetics has been established to help stimulate discussion on all aspects of the subject and to help in the organization of the symposium. To join, those interested are requested to send an email message:
To: <mailbase@mailbase.ac.uk>
