SYMPOSIUM ON MARINE FINFISH AND SHELLFISH AQUACULTURE, MARINE STOCK ENHANCEMENT AND OPEN OCEAN ENGINEERING
September 16-18, 1997
University of New Hampshire, Durham, NH, USA
The aquaculture Panel of the United States / Japan Natural
Resources Committee (UJNR) will meet in 1997 at the University of New Hampshire. There will be a 3 day scientific symposium held at the conference facilities of the New England Center on the UNH campus. The goal is to bring scientists from the two countries together to exchange knowledge and to plan collaborative research. The symposium will consist of oral presentations, posters and panel discussions in the areas of marine finfish and shellfish aquaculture, marine stock enhancement and open ocean engineering. Preference will be given to research that relates to the northeastern United States.
We invite papers in five general categories:
I. Nutrition
II. Genetics
III. Health Management
IV. Marine Stock Enhancement
V. Engineering for Open Ocean Aquaculture
