QUESTION:
I am looking for a supplier of dehydrated Isochrysis galbana and
Tetraselmis. Dehydrated Tetraselmis used to be provided by a company which apparently closed down few years back, so if anyone has information on another company providing the same product or a new replacement product it will be of very great help!

COMMENTS 1:
I remember the spray dried Tetraselmis. It was produced by a company called Cell Systems in England (CELSYS). Was too expensive as I remember and did not get the acceptance as hoped for by the bivalve industry. There is a very high HUFA, spray dried, (also drum dried) heterotrophically grown algae named Schizochytrium sp., available from the supplier listed below under the commercial name AlgaMac. You might want to look up the product specs on their website. A number of researchers and commercial producers have used this product for enrichments and larval culture of various aquatic species and there is quite a bit of literature available on its performance. I hope this helps.

My company produces T-ISO and Tetraselmis but not in a dehydrated form. We ship the algae as a semi-frozen paste. Information about our microalgae can be found at http://www.seafarm.com.
