4TH SYMPOSIUM ON DISEASES IN ASIAN AQUACULTURE

Call for papers

Organized by the Fish Health Section of the Asian Fisheries Society (AFS-FHS) which was founded in 1989 to improve regional knowledge on fish health management and to develop awareness among Asian aquaculturists towards establishing a sustainable aquaculture industry. The Section, in collaboration with various agencies, has organized training and workshops to develop and improve expertise in fish health management in the region.

The program will include (but is not limited to) the following topics: infectious and non-infectious diseases of aquatic animals, including fish, reptiles and amphibians (both cultured and wild populations); Epizootic Ulcerative Syndrome; vaccines, immunostimulants and other biological control methods; chemotherapy and toxicology; diagnostic techniques; quarantine and legislation; environment and aquatic animal health.
