This popular 5-day shrimp course provides training in intensive production-scale culture techniques for growout of juveniles of Penaeus vannamei in salt of freshwater. System design and operation, stocking, feeding, post-larval acclimation, water quality, health management, record keeping, harvesting, marketing, regulations, production planning, and economics are covered. A bioassay and water quality test to assess the suitability of the shrimp culture water is available at a reduced fee.
