Ornamental Fish Aquaculture - This will be the focus of the Aquarama '99 conference to promote research in this area. The conference will take on a more scientific approach and will cover some of the major issues of ornamental fish aquaculture, including several sessions on Zebrafish Genetics and Development, and the aquarium trade. A sub-committee has been specially set up for the segment on Zebrafish. This Zebrafish sub-committee will be chaired by Dr. Vladimir Korzh from the Institute Molecular Agrobiology. There will also be open poster sessions for delegates to present their work on all aspects of ornamental fish and zebrafish research. Prominent speakers and researchers from all over the world will be invited to speak at the conference.
