Co-organized by Aquatic Animal Health Research Institute and Network of Aquaculture Centres in Asia-Pacific.
The training course will last for 6 days and will include lectures, practical exercises, case studies, visits to farms and adequate time for discussion. The lectures are based on the information contained in "Health Management in Shrimp Ponds".
The course will emphasize the benefits of maintaining healthy stock and preventing disease through management of the pond. The use of chemical treatments will be covered but only as part of an integrated management system.
