LAKE URMIA, IRAN: A SUMMARY REVIEW

Abstract:
The major hydrological, morphometric and chemical features of Lake Urmia, a large salt lake in Iran, are briefly reviewed. Some comments are made on bacteriological quality of the lake sediments.
