Editorial excerpts :
For several years we at Gracey Communications have pondered the need for a magazine that will speak directly to people involved in the shellfish industry. Shellfish World, we believe, will meet that need and allow for the exchange of news and ideas from around the world on a wide variety of important subjects.
Our aim is to bring together shellfish farmers, growers and harvesters of both cultivated and wild stock, the processors and consumers of shellfish, the designers, manufacturers and distributors of the equipment that growers, harvesters and processors use on a day basis, the scientists and engineers who are moving our knowledge of the industry forward, and the managers and administrators who must regulate and integrate all these activities.
