QUESTION:
Just curious as to the current progress & success status of actually culturing the Pokadot Grouper (Cromileptes altivelis). Can anyone
point me in the right direction to find out?

A good place to start would be
the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center (SEAFDEC) Aquaculture Department in Tigbauan, Iloilo. Philippines

There has been small-scale commercial culture of Cromileptes in the Philippines for a while (e.g. JAMA Fish Company; tel. 63-75-522-3825), but largely on captured fingerlings. There have been SEAFDEC experiments on hatchery protocols. A good contact at SEAFDEC is Dr. Clarissa Marte.
