The conference will have as its theme "From Culture to Consumer", ranging over the whole spectrum of marine farming. Tropical and fresh water aquaculture will be covered, as well as the more traditional salmon and oyster farming, which comprise the mainstay of Tasmanian aquaculture. The business aspects of aquaculture will receive attention, as well as the more technical issues of production and research, with a focus on worldwide consumer and marketing trends.
