QUESTION:

I am looking for references that identify natural predators (not parasites, such as bacteria, but organisms which feed naturally on them), if any, of Artemia.

COMMENTS 1:

Artemia's ability to survive is its adaptation to salinities higher than
predators can stand.  However, there are aquatic Hemiptera such as the
Corixidae that predate Artemia in their natural and un-natural environments such as salt ponds.  These Corixids grasp and hold the Artemia while they pierce their gut and suck out bodily fluids.  When they release the Artemia, the Artemia are alive but die shortly after.  Of course Artemia's greatest predator are aquatic birds.
