“Biology of Fish Larvae
Production” course
The Centre
of Marine Sciences (CCMAR) of the University of Algarve is organizing
together with the Wageningen University (Fish Culture and Fisheries Group)
and AquaTT (Dublin) the 2001 edition of the international course “Biology
of Fish Larvae Production”.
This year the course is supported by the European Commission, through the
Eurolab courses, in the project AQUALABS- Advanced Laboratory Training
Courses in Aquaculture.
The course will take place from July 2 to October 19, 2001, with a core
period in September 17-21, at the University of Algarve (Faro,
Portugal). The deadline for registration is June 22.
Objectives:

To give a brief outline of the state of the art of rearing fish
larvae.
·
To expose students to scientific techniques which are applied in
fish larvae research
Participants:
The target audience are advanced
undergraduate students, MSc students, PhD students, Industry R&D staff,
young researchers from Universities and other research organisations. The
number of participants will be restricted.
