The first official conference of the
Asian-Pacific Chapter of the World Aquaculture Society will be held at the
Miracle Grand Hotel in Bangkok. The theme of the conference, hosted by the
Royal Thai Department of Fisheries, is "Quality - the focus of Asian
Aquaculture" and special sessions will feature shrimp culture, fish
culture, mollusc culture and special sessions on quality and food safety.
