Fish Vaccination Workshop V

19-23 April, 2004
Wageningen, The Netherlands

This workshop is hosted by the Cell Biology & Immunology group at Wageningen University.
The Fish Vaccination Workshop is set up for academic and company researchers, including PhD students.
The Fish Vaccination workshop is organised every other year, taking turns with the 'Fish Immunology' Workshop. Both workshops are typically characterized by 30 min - one-hour presentations by different but experienced lecturers, taking time to thoroughly introduce each subject. The objective of the present workshop is to provide participants with advanced knowledge on fish vaccination and on the fish immune response to vaccines. Emphasis will be placed on vaccine design, vaccination strategies, techniques and applications, as well as on the evaluation of vaccine efficacy and cost/benefit analyses. The workshop will include one afternoon of practical computer exercises. The official language of the workshop is English.
