16-17 April 2004
Dublin, Ireland

The last of the 5 trans-national PROFET workshops on the research needs of the European fish farming sector will be held in Dublin (Ireland) on the 16th and 17th April 2004. This PROFET Workshop will be devoted to Coldwater marine finfish aquaculture. 5 key topics will be presented and discussed; these are: the state of aquaculture in Europe, the availability of medicines for finfish aquaculture, the future for the production of marine finfish, the market potential of marine finfish species and, last but not least, identification of the Research and Development priorities.
This will be the last opportunity to give your opinion on these topics that affect European aquaculture, to help to identify the research needs and to understand better what the existing European networks can provide .
