INVE Scientific Department
INVE puts considerable emphasis on research and development, as well as
quality control and quality assurance programs. Besides investigating basic
practical research and applying more recently acquired knowledge, the
central scientific department supports the scientific, technical and
commercial staff of the different companies of the group.
INVE carries out in-house research in which it has its own people
investigating technical and scientific aspects. There are about ten people
directly employed in the scientific department.
Another task of the Inve’s scientific division is to support its customers
when they have a technical problem.
Inve also contrats research to universities. Historically, the aquaculture
specialists have worked with the Ghent University through Dr. Patrick
Sorgeloos and with the University of Wales through Dr. David Jones.
