INVE carries out in-house research in which it has its own people investigating technical and scientific aspects. There are about ten people directly employed in the scientific department.

Another task of the Inve’s scientific division is to support its customers when they have a technical problem.

Inve also contrats research to universities. Historically, the aquaculture specialists have worked with the Ghent University through Dr. Patrick Sorgeloos and with the University of Wales through Dr. David Jones.

   • up to date information service from INVE library and data bank connected to international network
   • advanced software for assistance in tailored formulation for feedmills and farmers
   • analytical lab service for customers available from six local INVE laboratories
   • troubleshooting and advising on feeding regimes, formulation, feedmilling, housing, climatisation, breeding organisation, environmental aspects, legislation, disease prevention and pathological problems by highly schooled and skilled human resource base consisting of PhD’s, engineers, veterinarians, pharmacologiss and biologists based in 14 countries
